So this is some illustrations I just made for a client for a project management tool website.
Something quick and fancy.
I just wanted to share them.
Vor einiger Zeit fragte mich Jan Middendorp, ob ich ihm bei der Gestaltung eines Buchcovers für den belgischen Verlag LANOO helfen kann. Der Titel des Buches heißt (glaub ich) so viel wie »Mach mir was weis« und es geht um moderne Kommunikation und dessen Geschichte. Wir haben ein paar Sachen ausprobiert, diese Woche ist das fertige Buch rein geschneit.
A while ago Jan Middendorp asked me, if I could help to design a book cover for the Belgian publisher LANNOO. The book is about modern communication and its history. We tried a couple of things, this week I got my copy.

Irgendwo zwischen Diplom-muss-fertig-werden und “Ich hab gar keine Zeit” habe ich kürzlich noch das Design für ein iPhone-Spiel “Schnick Schnack Schnuck” gemacht (für White Cube), das ihr sicher alle noch aus Kindertagen kennt. Es ist seit ein paar Tagen hier verfügbar. Ich konnte es leider selbst noch nicht testen, da ich nicht im Besitz eines solchen Telefones bin, bin aber gespannt auf jegliches Feedback!
Recently I made the design for an i Phone game called “Schnick Schnack Schnuck” (for White Cube) . It is available here. I wasn’t able to test it, I don’t have one of these phones but I’d like to hear your feedback!
Hier mal wieder zwei Illustrationen aus dem Lehrbuch für die Kinder-Englischschule. Diesmal geht es darum, was man am Morgen so macht und dann dann gibts noch ein kleines Issue im Kinderzimmer…
Here are another two illustrations for the kid’s English school. It’s about what you don in the morning and there is a little quarrel in the cildren’s room.
Eine meiner Illustrationen wurde in dem kürzlich erschienen Index Illustration von Claudia Herling veröffentlicht und ich bin überraschenderweise ziemlich angetan von dem Buch. Ich habe bisher einen großen Bogen um die Index-Buchreihe gemacht (gibt es auch über Logos, Farbe, Schrift…), da das Cover mich bisher nicht so sonderlich überzeugen konnte, dass da jemand der Ahnung von Design hat am Werk war.
Weit gefehlt! Das Buch ist absolut spannend, handlich, durch Interviews mit Illustratoren angereichert und macht einfach Spaß.
Übrigens ist der fantastische Herr Gellner ebenfalls mit von der Partie!
One of my illustrations war published in Index Illustration. And I’m really surprise how good this book is. I’ve been very sceptical with the Index-series, well… I don’t like the cover design. But it’s really a great book!
Also, the fabulous Mr. Gellner is published in there as well.
